We are currently seeking a hard-working and dependable Building Maintenance person to join our team and contribute to the overall success of the Facilities team and FIBT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain building by performing minor and routine maintenance.
• Complete Facilities Management System maintenance requests that are assigned in a timely manner.
• Manage calendar for planned events in Facilities Management System.
• Assist with supervision of scheduled contracted work.
• Replace filters for air handling units (AHU), refrigerators, drinking fountains, and side stream filters for heating and cooling system.
• Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating and ventilating equipment.
• Clean snow and debris from sidewalk.
• Keep exterior grounds clean and free of trash and debris.
• Sweep and scrub floors.
• Clean rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture.
• Dust furniture and equipment and polishes metalwork.
• Wash walls, ceilings and woodwork.
• Spot wash windows, door panels and sills.
• Order and replenishes supplies for assigned location(s).

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalency; three to five years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Valid drives license is required.
